Maverick Member Perks and Benefits
The Maverick Round Table
Who does not remember growing up with the rich tales of Camelot, King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table….. and Lancelot? The Sword in the Stone….. Remember?? What you are probably thinking is ‘what does King Arthur have to do with me and the Mavericks?’ Well, that is a great question. So sit back, relax and watch as these dots connect.
The Knights of the Round Table play an important part in the story and legend of King Arthur. The significance of the Round Table was that no one person, not even King Arthur, would be able to sit at the head of such a table. A round table enforced the concept of equality. The legend states that King Arthur ordered the Round Table to be built in order to resolve a conflict among his knights concerning who should have precedence. The Round Table was therefore built to ensure that all the Knights of the Round Table were deemed equal and each of the seats at the Round Table were highly favored places.
A Maverick Round Table (There’s your dot connection) group consists of about 6-8 members coming together with one goal…to accelerate the growth of each member’s business, lifestyle and impact to new levels. Each month members will meet together virtually to share successes, new resources and get advice on pressing problems or opportunities while keeping each other accountable. The best part is you can meet conveniently from your home, office or on the road via the online or dial-in platform. In the words of Maverick member#141 Matt Clark the Round Table has positively affected his professional and personal life:
“Jason Katzenback, a fellow Maverick and I met through the Maverick Round Table group we are a part of in December of 2011. We, along with internet marketing guru Jason Potash, ended up putting a product together called Amazon Money Machine and in a week, did a million dollar launch before closing the doors to take care of new members. This project and its success are directly attributable to being a Maverick (I joined October 2011). I have never met Jason K. face-to-face as he’s in a whole other country (Canada). We created that business purely based on the trust and camaraderie we had developed from being part of this group. The doors to Amazon Money Machine are opening back up and the sky’s the limit thanks to Yanik Silver and everyone else involved with Maverick 1000.”
When asked about her thoughts as organizer and facilitator of the Maverick Round Table groups, Lara Jaeger (The “King Arthur” of your round table) shared many positive connections, collaborations and conversations she has been witness to. One recent conversation in particular stood out to her. The situation was that a Maverick member came to the group and shared his intentions of starting a non-profit organization that would revolutionize the world of hunger. Lara said it was so impressive to not only listen to him talk about his cause and the drive and passion he was putting behind it, but to also hear him openly say that he was not fully knowledgable in the area of non-profits and would really appreciate any input or advice on the matter. One of the long-time Maverick members in his group had years of experience working within the Financial Function realm of the Corporate world and knew a thing or two about non-profits; the ethics behind starting and maintaining them. He put some ideas on “The Table” that this member had not thought of, ideas that only put more fuel on his fire to achieve his goal of starting this non-profit. It was a win-win experience, in that one member needed advice and another had it to give. According to Lara, this type of exchange is a common one in the Round Table meetings. She feels that being a part of a Maverick Round Table group is one of the best ways for a Maverick to connect and grow as a professional.
