Together with other highly-regarded business leaders, entrepreneurs and non-profits, we’ve co-founded the “3% Forward” movement.
How it works
The idea is simple: Pledge 3% of your annual sales to the cause, as your personal commitment to giving forward. Your 3% can be any combination of money, talent and/or products/services, toward the cause that matters most to YOU.
(Don’t worry – the specific amount you pledge stays confidential, and is only used to help aggregate the total impact of this movement).
Where your donation goes
You choose the who, the how, the where and the when for your donation. For example, you may want to reward an innovative non-profit organization that supports education, healthcare, or the environment. Or, you might even invest in new start-ups or micro-entrepreneurship…
The bottom line is: You’ve made a commitment to contribute 3% of your unique abilities or resources to what’s most important to you, and whatever cause you think would have a multiplier impact in that area.
