Welcome David! What businesses do you operate?
I am the Founder Owner and CEO of Convergent Wealth Advisors, a recognized industry leader in wealth management, providing customized wealth advisory services to affluent individuals and family offices.
Why did you become a member of Maverick1000 and why are you a good fit for the group?
My hope is that I can learn a lot from the other members and hopefully have an impact on them with my experience in sales and management. I love outdoor fun and what other might call “extreme sports” although they seem pretty normal to me. (What is “Normal” anyways?)
What top things would you like to gain / learn / do with other Mavericks, and what unique value do you bring to the group?
I would like to build relationships with other leaders in different businesses to learn from them and share knowledge. Become a better leader and hopefully have some fun (This my friend, is a guarantee).
Super Hero Skills: I have a lot of energy and passion and a very open mind. I am very hard worker and extremely determined and disciplined.

Why did you become a member of Maverick1000 and why are you a good fit for the group?
I would like to build a network of like-minded entrepreneurs, marketers and business mavens so that we can leverage our collective experience into greater success. Being a Maverick not only allows me to do so, but I get to do it in a way I never imagined; travelling and experiencing truly Maverick like adventures. Not to mention that I have seen many a Maverick in their Mayan loin cloths and there is really no going back from that… ever… despite how hard you try to forget!
What top things would you like to gain / learn / do with other Mavericks, and what unique value do you bring to the group?
- How to better leverage my time, resources, and by-products to create greater success and fulfillment.
- Grow a network of trusted business colleagues that operate in my space and understand the challenges we face.
- Kick ass and take names while growing my business from the back of a jet fighter plane in Russia after a scuba dive between tectonic plates just before a halo dive (Whoa! Who wants to take this guy on?!).
What is the most Maverick thing you have ever done?
The most Maverick thing I’ve done is join the Mavericks… duh! 😉

What’s the most significant / important contribution you’ve made to a community or nonprofit organization?
With every new client that joins the FreeFlow family, we sponsor a child in an impoverished country so that they can grow up with the education, food and clean water they need. It’s our policy to pay forward every blessing we receive (cheesy I know!). (But really….who doesn’t love a little cheese?)

I am the Founder/Owner of WBECS, which is the world’s largest event for Coaches attracting over 11,000 attendees. Also have systematized the process and sell this as a$35k +10% revenues complete done for you product that guarantees to build the world’s largest event for your industry.
Why did you become a member of Maverick1000 and why are you a good fit for the group?
I am passionate about people, achievement and charity and M1000 encompasses all of these. I have done pretty much everything on my own up until now and have become fairly successful doing this. However it’s now time to start synegizing my skills and sharing my knowledge.
What top things would you like to gain / learn / do with other Mavericks, and what unique value do you bring to the group?
I want to learn how to scale further and IPO our events company. I also would like to gain knowledge on how to grow a larger team of fulfilled rock star employees. I want advice on how to incorporate more altruism into our organization while having FUN doing it!
Super Hero Skills: I have put on some of the world’s largest business events and know how to fill a room with a highly targeted audience, be it a virual room or live event. All done using ethical value based marketing. (That IS quite the Super hero Skill!)
What interests, activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
- Traveling (I have lived in 5 continents)
- Marketing-I admit I am a marketing geek (We appreciate your honesty Ben)
- People and different cultures
- I love to party! (Ah yeah!)
What’s the most significant / important contribution you’ve made to a community or nonprofit organization?
I spent 2 months in an Orphanage in Zambia. The only orphanage that accepts orphans with Aids. I dug pits, painted walls, carried water etc. Before I left, I raised $8000 to “electrify the orphanage” with generators.
What are the Top 3 adventures/things on your Big Life List?
- Go on an Amazon full jungle trek
- Have a seat on the Virgin Galactic
- Attend the Rio Carnival including a mansion after party
