Hey Mavericks,
This might sound harsh – but I believe our traditional educational system is letting us down.
You see, my family lives in one of the top school districts in the country but I truly cannot say with confidence my kids are learning the most important skills for the 21st century. Quite frankly, I have not found anything out there for developing your children’s entrepreneurial spirit, building on core success skills, learning from other parents and doing it in a way that’s fun, engaging and builds unique family memories.
There seems to be a pretty big gaping void here. Until now…
Announcing our 2nd Annual Maverick Family Freedom Event

If you have kids (or grandkids, nieces, nephews, etc) ages 6-18 this it a great way to let them get a taste for business and actually hit the streets selling what they create during the 4th of July Parade. These are the kind of self-sufficient skills that last a lifetime.
And while the kids are learning about entrepreneurship, the parents are taking part in discussions and workshops on raising more independent and less entitled children. It’s really the first and only event for both parents and kids like this…plus lots of fun and cool family bonding. (Hey, it’s a Maverick experience after all so we’ll include zip-lining, alpine slides and hot air ballooning for everyone!)
The response from last year’s attendees (Mavericks and children) told us it was their “Best family experience EVER” – so we decided to do it again. However, instead of doing it much bigger, we’re going to continue keeping the event small and intimate with the conversations and connections at a high level. Now that means there is very limited space and you’ll need to register right away to bring your family.

Of course, you will take at least one family summer vacation this year, but how are you going to go out of your way to create real-world entrepreneurial activities and lessons and unique family bonding? This is an educational experience that can change the trajectory of your child’s life and it’s still cheaper than going to Disney.
If your child leaves a little bit more inspired, turned on to entrepreneurial thinking, it will serve them for their lifetime.
All the best,
Yanik Silver
P.S. Want another reason to attend this experience? Bringing your kids together with other smart & motivated kids will create new peers to encourage and support them. Last year it was astounding to see so many of the Maverick kids all instantly bond because they shared similar backgrounds with their high-performing parents.
