You’re invited to join fellow Puerto Rican entrepreneurs and business leaders for a unique day of inspiration, connection, support and new ideas.
How This Happened:
Maverick1000 is a global collective of exceptional entrepreneurs, experts and industry leaders in 91+ industries. Our annual Summit was scheduled to take place in San Juan before Hurricane Maria devastated the island. As you can imagine, we considered relocating, but decided that instead we wanted to show up and make a difference.
As Puerto Rico faces numerous obstacles as it begins to emerge from the storm, we believe entrepreneurs are best equipped to come up with new innovative solutions, find ways of making a difference and come out stronger and more resilient.
That’s why Mavericks want to contribute mentorship, experience and brainpower to help lift the community up together.
The Format:
Our time together will be a mix of:
- Presentations and panels with Maverick members and members of the local business community.
- Round table discussions on topics to discover new ideas and “what’s working” to leverage ways of developing more revenue from new channels (Maverick members represent some of the top world-class experts in digital marketing, eCommerce, scaling, etc.)
- Informal conversations and networking opportunities.
Plus, a way to immediately tap into our resources and networks…
“The 3 Big Asks Session”
10-15 selected business owners will have the opportunity to share their “elevator pitch” with the group and present 3 big “asks.” Essentially 3 things they know will move the needle on their business right now – post Hurricane Maria. These could be key resources, connections, investments, etc.
We will record each of these presentations so that Maverick members and a few strategic partners can share these videos with their networks after the event. This way even if the direct connection is not made here – there is likely to be a much bigger ripple effect.
Mavericks have continued to prove that we can make big things happen and we’re excited and optimistic that we’ll make a big difference in Puerto Rico. Hopefully, you will join us!
