Why Trees? Trees are our perfect ally. Not only do they give off oxygen so that we can breathe, but they also improve the quality of our air by filtering harmful dust and pollutants such as ozone, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide. Trees also provide food, protection, and shelter for many species of wildlife.
Why now?: More than 60% of all forests worldwide have been cut over the last 50 years and forests are diminishing by millions of acres every year.
